Annual Washington D.C./New York Games

Over the weekend, all the staffs from the Embassy of Malaysia here in Washington D.C drove up north towards New York for the annual game..What else other than bowling/karaoke..There were more than 40 people including adults and children..The last time I was in New York was last year in Dec. Hmmm, I kind of missed New York actually..I missed the good old days where I know every single family..Now, there are tons of new families and new faces..I barely know them..They only people that I know pon all of them are going back to Malaysia for good soon..*sigh*

Enough said, the bowling tournament was hard for because there were a lot of good players out there, but they didn't scared me..I managed to maintain 150 and above..My total scored of 3 games were 527..hehe..I am still No.1 hold the record of having 2 straight wins representing Washington D.C.

Whatever it is, I just wanted to thank uncle rahim and family for letting us guys crashed over one night at their crib..

SELAMAT HARI RAYA TO ALL!!

My second raya with out my family and my 13th raya away from Malaysia my tanah air..I slept for 2 hours only that morning before my boys Zaki and Todi were off to the Embassy of Malaysia to celebrate Hari Raya..Called up my family in Ukraine and bermaaf-maafan over the phone..It sux im telling ya..My mother cried when I talked to her..She asked me 'why do you have to grow so fast? this is your 2nd raya away from us'  I was about going to cry but I had to hold it inside cos that nite I was at one of the Malaysian family's house..hehe..

This year Raya was orite I guess, reached the Embassy in the morning at 8.30 a.m. and once I entered the glass door I could Ustaz was Takbir..*tsk tsk* Takbir really touched me somehow..I love takbir during raya..With out takbir for me it aint Raya..hehe..After that I prayed and heard Qutbah about Raya..Then, we had our traditional meals which were Nasi Impit, Rendang, Kuah Kacang, Biskut Raya and others..

I just wanna wish you all Selamat Hari Raya..I bet those who are in Malaysia had a blast huh? Tak aci..I will leave you with pictures during Raya..Enjoy
